I'm Maria, a Portland-based photographer with over 15 years of experience and a particular affection for the fleeting, often overlooked details that make our lives so vibrant and unique. My recipe for this is a blend of documentary observation and editorial sensibility. I prefer being everywhere without drawing attention to myself. And while you're my main focus, I also capture everything you don't get to see: the look in your parents' eyes as you say “I do,” your college friends doing shots and cheering you on, or your best friend telling their plus-one they knew this was exactly what would happen the moment you two met. All those little moments you might otherwise never get to see.
